I'm a Peruvian-American cinematographer working out of Arizona. I specialize in cinematic and run-and-gun documentary, and am available for hire as a DP, camera operator or producer-shooter.

Dream School
DREAM School is a place for Black and Indigenous folks to feel safe to dream.
I co-facilitated a collective of queer and trans migrants of color in Phoenix, Arizona to write, act, and direct themselves in this two-part video series. I did the editing and cinematography, and Kate Tutaya did the writing and art direction.
In a country whose government does not recognize their religion, a group of Egyptian Baha'is tell their story of arbitrary arrests and violence, their legal battle for recognition, and their enduring faith in spite of it all. A short film I produced in 2014.

¡Wáchale! Cine Callejero brings new releases and classic hits from Latin America and the Third World to historically Black and Latinx neighborhoods in Phoenix. The program spotlights the narratives of queer and trans people of color, while creating a space for audiences to commune and transform. ¡Wáchale! carries into the future the “Liberation Cinema” of 1960s/70s Argentina, Brazil, and Cuba, where leftist groups insisted on film screenings as events to transform spectators into political actors. the grassroots up. Like the flower from which it takes its name,
Galería Toloache is hallucinogen, medicine, and love potion.
Curated by a growing group of LGBTQ+ migrants of color, the
gallery seeks to create a real alternative to mainstream cultural
institutions that appropriate our queer aesthetics and profit from
our indigenous cultures, while refusing to fight for our safety or
liberation.
